SIB Dragon Age Inquisition+Ratchet and Clank or Yakuza 0? (PS4)
Hey guys, just been given a $25 PSN gift card. DAI and R&C are both on sale on PSN currently. I’m considering purchasing either both of them or Yakuza 0. I’ve been a long-time fan of R&C but I’ve heard middling reviews about the PS4 remake. I’m primarily into open-world action-adventure games with the odd linear game (mostly PS exclusives) thrown into the mix. Examples of what I’ve been putting time into recently include AC Odyssey/Origins, HZD, RDR2, Shadow of War, Arkham Knight, Spider-Man, Just Cause 4 and Ghost of Tsushima. I’ve heard great things about Yakuza 0 but I’ve heard it’s a niche game that’s not for everyone. I’m not particularly sure about it because I haven’t played a JRPG before, and from what I’ve heard, they’re quite different from Western RPGs. I’m pretty much looking for something that’s an engaging timesink. Help!
[US-KS] [H] PayPal [W] Yakuza 0 PS4 blue label version complete
Trying to complete my physical Yakuza collection today - 0 is the only one I don't have, but I really don't want to get a PlayStation Hits version of it if possible. Just not a fan of the red banner. If anyone has anything please let me know - there's a few on eBay for around $40 so I'd rather pay less than that if possible
I'm playing Yakuza 0 on Steam with a PS4 controller connected by USB. For some reason, though, all my inputs are weird. Pushing left/right on the left stick moves the camera up/down and vice versa, pressing square counts as an x input, pressing x counts as a circle input, etc. The strange thing is, though, that when I go into the button remapping menu and press those buttons, they work normally? If anybody knows how to solve this issue, help would be much appreciated.
So to begin I have never even played a Yakuza game, i have thought about it a few times though. To check out if it might be something for me I decided to play the demo for Yakuza Kiwami 2 (since there is no demo for Yakuza 0). I really like the cinematography and the artstyle. I do not know anything about the Yakuza series, except that the story is about gang wars or something.(correct me if I'm wrong!). I ask if I should buy Yakuza 0, since I read that, if you are new to the series, you should start playing that one. I do not give a lot about open world games, but as far as I can see this is not really an open world game. The most important thing for me to like a game, is that is MUST have a really really good story. I do not like constant fighting, I mean games which are based around fighting. However, 'some' fighting I do not mind, especially when it is involved in the story (if you know what I mean). As far as I could see in the demo (it was something about half an hour), I'm afraid that the fighting will get repetitive in this game, so please give me your honest opinion on that. I also wonder if you can roam around a bit in the city(s). For the ones that also have played Persona 5, I imagine it would be something like that. To summarize: I really like the way the game is made, but I'm doubting whether the fighting will get repetitive. I also wonder what other aspects you can do in this game (something like roaming around). Thanks!
The games I’m looking for are: Bloodborne Nioh Nier: Automata Ratchet and Clank Infamous: Second Son Kingdom Come: Deliverance Divinity: Original Sin/Divinity: Original Sin 2 Pillars of Eternity/Pillars of Eternity 2 Vampyr Dishonored/Dishonored 2 Prey
I've had a problem with Yakuza 0 for a while now and considering the fact that i couldn't find any useful info anywhere i'm going to try to find it here. So the problem is that if i use ds4 after like 3 hours of usage the game starts completely ignoring inputs from DS4 and if i turn DS4 off then suddenly my controls apparently switch to the japanese version meaning that instead of cross acting as A then square becoms A etc. please help me
Hi there, let me preface this by saying that I also own Rock Band 4, and I have no problems with hitting notes there - the delay with the instruments and stream is manageable. Also, for Yakuza 0 dance battles, I'm able to get three stars most of the time. However for the life of me, I can't seem to get any good scores on the Karaoke games. I try to stick to the beat and hit on the right buttons, but the buttons just don't seem to register or I end up missing it. It makes me sad because I'm gunning for 100% and it's not a skill based thing (I hope!) Did anyone have any experience with PS4 Yakuza 0 and had similar issues?
I have a huge backlog of unfinished or still sealed open-world/rpg/hub games that have lost my interest because I generally dislike crafting trees, level grinding, numerous sidequests and incessant/branching dialogue npc interactions. Games I started but didn't finish or own but lost interest in starting: GTA V Witcher 3 MGSV Nier Automata Horizon Zero Dawn KOTOR Mobile Shadow of the Tomb Raider (lost me with the shift to more HZD-type RPG elements) Gravity Rush 2 Bloodborne Middle-Earth: Shadow of War Skyrim VR Just Cause 3, Mad Max, etc (PS+) Games I finished and loved: Uncharted 1,2,3,4 Tomb Raider Definitive Edition Rise of Tomb Raider (didn't like as much as 1st reboot entry) Batman Arkham Knight Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor AC: Black Flag AC: Origins (not nearly as much as Black Flag) God of War 1,2,3 & 2018 Last Guardian Shadow of the Colossus Until Dawn I did manage to slog through and finish the Mass Effect trilogy but found it very trying. I owned Shenmue on Dreamcast back in the day but barely made a dent. Is Yakuza 0 and the rest of the series for me?
[USA][H] God of War, Watchdogs 2, Until Dawn, Star Ocean, Gravity Rush Remastered, Republiqe, Battlefront Deluxe Edition, Battlefront 2 (PS4), Until Dawn Rush of Blood (PSVR); Xenoblade Chronicles 2, ARMS, Attack on Titan 2, Super Bomberman R (Switch) [W] Heavy Rain, Yakuza 6, Yakuza 0 (PS4)
